Quick Door
Combined with the settings of Chinese and English same words but different meanings, a story that can travel in time and space is built. The camera shutter and "kuaimen" means a door that can quickly travel back and forth between time and space. In daily life, the photos taken by the camera often take us back and forth between memories in different times and spaces. As the first photography work, I boldly tried to add animation and music produced by myself, and accumulated a lot of experience.

China has a variety of food cultures. After observing many Chinese restaurants in Singapore, I decided to explore the "spicy" culture in Singapore from the perspective of a restaurant owner. Take "Spicy Hot Pot" as an example to shoot a documentary. In the process of filming and contacting the interviewees, I have a new understanding of the cultural integration of Singapore.

As a member of the film industry, the Harry Potter series is the film that has had the greatest impact on me. I used to be obsessed with the canons and adaptations of movies. I liked Hermione when I was a child, but with the development of the plot and my growth, I gradually saw the tragic side of this character, so I made this mushup, which is also like reviewing my experience of watching movies, which is undoubtedly very meaningful.

I propose to adopt the method of high-speed photography, and the idea is: see the big from the small. The seemingly ordinary vegan mashed potatoes turn out to be a gorgeous treat. Limited by equipment, the part of high-speed photography needs to be strengthened.

The goldfish in the film is an important factor and has a beautiful meaning in Chinese culture, but the fish are usually kept in aquariums or small ponds as ornamental fish, without freedom. Like the girl in the story I wanted to tell. The little girl in the story has grown-up maturity. She wanted to escape her mother's crazy grip. She tries to gain spiritual freedom by releasing the goldfish. The film was shot in Singapore, I wanted to show a traditional Chinese family, the family is divided, the girl's parents have different educational ideas, and all this without caring about the girl's feelings.

The 25th Hour
When Felix discovers he has a 25th hour, he uses that hour to reconnect with his father, who reveals the meaning and truth of time.The main character is a "casual" guy who is not interested in everything in life. Until he accidentally discovered that his life was adding an hour every day. It seemed to make his life interesting, even meaningful. I referred to "Father" and combined my own experience to form "The 25th hour". This film is based on a superpower, thinking about the meaning of time and the relationship between families. My father and I are just like in the movie, complaining about each other but caring about each other. After I studied abroad, my relationship with my father was often difficult, and he passed away while the film was being filmed. I didn't know all this until I went back. The end of the film fulfilled my regrets in reality. This is exactly what I want to show, the most precious thing in life is time and the people you love.
